Hunter got to go to lunch with his dad yesterday. Hunter was all dressed up in his red and white baseball outfit for the outing. So cute! Jimmy is a good dad!

St. Patrick's Day with Hunter
Hunter was a little solomn tonight. A stuffy ol' nose had him feeling a little bit under the weather. I love these photos of him. He's finding his hands!

The loves of my life, and me
What a blessing Hunter is to our family! It's interesting to see how such a tiny little soul can bring a close family even closer. We share his smiles, his jabbering, his tears. We miss him when he's only a room away.
Time is already slipping by. It's hard to believe that Hunter is already 13 weeks old. Where has the time gone?
The most wonderful honor of my life is keeping Hunter while Kristen is at work. Certainly, my freedom to come and go has been lessened some; but what I have in return is the highest blessing a grandmother could have. I know his little noises, his movements. I get to witness his amazing development and share his "firsts". His days are my days. We rock and sing, we read and cook (well, I cook and he sits on the counter to help!). But one of the most wonderful things about my keeping Hunter is that I get to spend wonderful, quality time with Kristen, too. She comes home at lunch to feed him and then spends time here after school. With Meghan living here, Kristen spending such treasured time here, and Hunter spending his days here, my life is wonderful. Steve and I are so blessed. And like my sweet daddy said, "God gave us the best He had at the time" (we still laugh about that one!)
