How I love the holidays with my sweet boy! So many first-times! Today was Thanksgiving. He was so precious, all dressed-up for the occasion. He had his first Thanksgiving meal and followed it with his first after Thanksgiving nap. I have more to be thankful for this year than ever. And today was one of my best days ever. I got to spend the morning with my sweet girls (Oh! How I love them!), my sweet Hunter and my sweet husband (who was so much help in the kitchen. Thank you, Steve!). Then I got to share the kitchen and my table with my precious, precious sister and her entire family, and with Steve's parents. Though it's really corny, I'll quote my mother (for the second time today) and say that my cup runneth over.

Hunter is growing!
It's been a long time since a new blog has been added, and in that time Hunter has grown and grown and grown! He is now 9 1/2 months old. Summer has passed and with the autumn have come sweet days with Hunter while Kristen is working. He happily jabbers "dadadadada ha ha ha!"-- and when complaining jabbers "MAMAMAMAMAMA!" (which is rare). He works hard at his play and "helps" me with my household tasks. He navigates easily from room to room with great confidence. His interest in books is increasing. He particularly likes his book of family pictures. Hunter goes to school on Wednesdays, so I'm always happy to see him on Thursday mornings!
How I love this boy! He brings such joy to my already joyful and abundant life. Here are a few photos from our simple, yet precious days. (Double-click on the photos for a larger view!)
