An Easter Egg HUNT-ER!

Our annual family Easter celebration at Aunt Jody's was especially memorable today because our sweet (and handsome) Hunter was there! I so loved being there with my girls, Jimmy, Hunter and sweet husband. Being with Steve's parents, cousins and aunt was so special. It was just a good day, all around.

Hunter was such a big boy today. He golfed, hunted Easter eggs and blew bubbles (thank you, Aunt Jody!), and was a real trooper with all of the family. I am so very proud of my sweet boy.

I've been thankful today. Thankful for the cross and resurrection. Thankful for my salvation. Thankful for my family...each one. Steve...Kristen...Meghan...Jimmy...Hunter. I am so blessed! But God blesses me even further with my precious brothers, and Tita and their sweet families. And my extended family, the Holloways in Arlington...my precious heart friends...and the family I married into (the Kennedys, Royes, Crooms, Gallimores and Hills). The man Meghan will marry someday is on my mind today, too, as well as his family. Though they are unknown to me today, I pray for them often.

Welcome to the family!

I have a precious new grandpuppy! His name is Wyatt Griffin Holloway. Wyatt is his new name, and Griffin is the name he came with. I am excited to have another sweet pup to love, spoil and spend my days with. Thank you, Kristen and Jimmy for allowing Meghan and me to share this occasion with you! It was a special time for us both. Here are some pictures from our trip to Morris Safehouse, where Kristen and Jimmy chose him from among some pretty terrific dogs (many of which I would have loved to brought home!). He has a really sweet little face, so double-click on some of the pictures to see it better!

Life in the fast lane

Oh me! There's never a dull moment with Hunter around! By the time 4pm rolls around, Hunter has opened and emptied every drawer and cabinet in the kitchen, bathroom and living room, has fed the dogs (and himself) a few dog biscuits, has scattered toys across the entire house, has had a nap or two (to recharge), and has attempted most of the no-play zones. And I don't mind at all! Some days are a little more challenging than others, but most of our days are fun, busy and easy. Hunter is such a sweet boy. His laughter is contagious. He and Tucker are the best of friends. Tucker is an independent pup and doesn't warm up to people much, so it's really fun to see the bond between these two guys. I'm having the time of my life! My posts will be out of order, but soon I'll post photos from our last family trip to the mountains.

Granna's Boy

Our precious boy is on the move! Now that he's walking, he is keeping me even busier than usual. Our days are full and full of motion! I melt when I look at these videos and photos. I bet you will, too. (The videos were taken on January 19th, so you can imagine how quickly he's moving now!)

Holiday Baby (and the other loves of my life)

How I love the holidays with my sweet boy! So many first-times! Today was Thanksgiving. He was so precious, all dressed-up for the occasion. He had his first Thanksgiving meal and followed it with his first after Thanksgiving nap. I have more to be thankful for this year than ever. And today was one of my best days ever. I got to spend the morning with my sweet girls (Oh! How I love them!), my sweet Hunter and my sweet husband (who was so much help in the kitchen. Thank you, Steve!). Then I got to share the kitchen and my table with my precious, precious sister and her entire family, and with Steve's parents. Though it's really corny, I'll quote my mother (for the second time today) and say that my cup runneth over.
